The SampleTank 2 app for iOS is a professional and fully featured mobile sound and groove workstation that brings the power and features of desktop virtual instruments to your iPad and iPhone. It is designed for professional live performances and song composition, providing a comprehensive array of world-class instruments, sounds, and patterns at your fingertips.

SampleTank CS offers all the functionality of the full app, with 23 instruments across 16 categories, allowing you to try out this powerful workstation for free. Additional sounds can be purchased individually through in-app purchases.

With SampleTank, you have access to 8 multitimbral instrument slots that can be easily layered or split. The app includes a comprehensive and expandable sound collection that covers nearly every acoustic and electronic sound imaginable. Additionally, each instrument category comes with its own instrument riffs and grooves, making it easy to start composing and playing right away.

The included instruments and the new sound engine are taken from the desktop version of SampleTank, IK's flagship workstation, ensuring unmatched realism, a wide variety of sounds, and exceptional audio performance. For the first time on iOS, thousands of professional sample-based sounds and patterns are easily accessible, layered, and ready to be used in live performances or studio recordings.

To enhance your experience, SampleTank offers an ever-growing library of sounds available through in-app purchases. This includes the Elektronika collection for electronica and EDM-oriented music production styles, Miroslav Philharmonik for stunningly realistic orchestral samples, SampleTank PRO for high-end sounds and grooves, as well as additional libraries covering cinematic sounds, pianos, drum libraries from renowned drummers, and much more!

SampleTank for iOS boasts over 2,300 instruments and over 1,200 MIDI patterns – making it the largest collection of sounds available for any virtual instrument on iOS.
